Several DaVinci members participated at the Hearn Academy annual cultural event. Our display table contained a map of Italy, the Italian flag, pottery pieces, books, apron and kitchen towels unique to Sicily, a tri-fold poster board filled with postcards highlighting various Italian cities, pictures of typical foods, and included on the board were every day phrases. The children enjoyed the diversion of the day and the teachers were very welcoming and accommodating. It was great opportunity to share our love of Italy with the children.
